Conjoined twins Abby and Brittany Hensel break silence after being spotted with newborn baby

Conjoined twins Abby and Brittany Hensel have responded to recent paparazzi photos capturing them with a newborn baby.

For those not familiar with the sisters from the US, they are dicephalic parapagus twins and were among the first conjoined twins to survive infancy.

They each have their own head - Abby on the right and Brittany on the left - but share a single body, with each twin controlling one side.

They gained fame with their own TLC series after appearing on the Oprah Winfrey Show, where they answered the world's questions about the intricacies of their life together.

The sisters made headlines again last year when it was revealed that Abby had quietly married Josh Bowling in 2021.

Last month, they sparked a wave of curiosity after being seen heading to a car with a newborn baby in a carrier.

Fans were eager to learn more, questioning if the baby is related to them and who the mother might be.

Taking to TikTok to address the photos, Abby and Brittany shared a cryptic message that didn't clarify much.

They posted several paparazzi pictures with the caption: "Blessed."

They also included hashtags like '#twins,' '#sisterhood,' and '#respect,' leaving people even more puzzled.

While they don't owe anyone an explanation about their private life, social media users remain curious.

In the TikTok comments, one user stated: "I have so many questions," while another asked: "Is this their child? Or babysitting?"

A third user questioned: "So who had the baby? What if only one wants to give birth and the other doesn’t?"

Meanwhile, someone else assumed they are parents and wrote: "Congratulations Abby & Brittany, you are amazing and have embarked on another incredible journey."

Another supportive comment read: "I'm glad to see you're still out and about! You don't owe anyone anything."

"People can wonder all they want, but they aren't entitled to your lives. I wish you all the best!"

In response to some negative comments, another fan added: "If this is their baby, he or she will surely receive lots of love and kisses.

"It doesn't matter if the baby is adopted or born via surrogacy, as long as the child is loved and cared for. Best wishes to them."

Abby and Brittany share some organs, including their bladder and reproductive system, but have individual brains, hearts, stomachs, and lungs, and are joined at the pelvis.

Each sister controls one side of their body, and they both attended Bethel University, graduating with degrees in education in 2012, each receiving their own diploma.

Now both 35 years old, the sisters work as teachers in a primary school, specializing in teaching math to year 5 and 6 students.
